refers to the Trans-European Automated Real-time Gross settlement Express Transfer system. It is the real-time gross settlement system for the euro and provides a safe and reliable mechanism for the settlement of large crossborder payments. Its main purpose is to serve the needs of the European System of Central Bank's monetary policy (NECCG)
